Toolmaking
For your product, you need to have a press tool built and designed by a tool maker to
produce the component by press metal stamping. The same applies for plastic injection
molding tools, they will need to be put in a plastic molding machine.
Toolmakers are noted as perfectionists in the engineering trade.

CNC Milling production
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control.
Instead of a human manually guiding cutting tools, a computer follows programmed
instructions to control the milling machine’s movements, machine cuts fast and automated
with multiple tools that run in a program to produce the part. With different cutter sizes and
geometry, also within the program you can have multiple drill sizes and taps for creating
threads. The many processes to manufacture the part are in one program that runs the mill to
give you the finished final component.

Metal Stamping production
Press metal stamping is a high-speed manufacturing process where flat metal or coil metal is fed automatically into a press that applies force to cut and shape metal into the design finish component using a press tool. This gives you low cost, high quantity manufacturing.
We have mechanical presses ranging from 30 tonne to 125 tonnes. We also use hydraulic presses which gives us an advantage to stretching the metal into deep drawing component products. Such products can be bowls, oil filters, etc.
We specialize in high-precision metal stamping solutions designed to meet the demands of modern manufacturing.

Chris Sukkel has been carrying out design tasks for us in the last 12 months. The work has involved development of concepts to a specification from scratch as well as modifications and improvements to existing industrial designs. Chris works with accuracy and has input into design ideas has been well worthwhile. Whilst he respects the overall scope and concepts delivered to him, his input has always enhanced the original ideas, both from a tooling for production and a cost per unit point of view. Manufacturers have also complimented his annotations to drawings as easy to understand and not overdone, whilst retaining the detail required to manufacture accurately. This is important to us, as drawings and instructions for manufacture are often translated from english into other languages and to much detail can confuse.
