I have worked with Chris now for more than 5 years. He has done tool design, tool making and maintenance for me, and of late some contract metal pressing as well. One instance I set him a complex brief to perforate a strip of aluminium with a high number of holes every 52mm where flatness was critical. Chris Sukkel has been carrying out design tasks for us in the last 12 months. The work has involved development of concepts to a specification from scratch as well as modifications and improvements to existing industrial designs. Chris works with accuracy and has input into design ideas has been well worthwhile. Whilst he respects the overall scope and concepts delivered to him, his input has always enhanced the original ideas, both from a tooling for production and a cost per unit point of view. Manufacturers have also complimented his annotations to drawings as easy to understand and not overdone, whilst retaining the detail required to manufacture accurately. This is important to us, as drawings and instructions for manufacture are often translated from english into other languages and to much detail can confuse. We would recommend Chris for this type of work and happy to provide references as required.
